Joint Initiative by
December 18 and Migrants Rights International.
The UN Migrant
Workers Convention enters into force on July 1st after a more than
10 year-long struggle by migrants rights activists from across the world.
Welcoming this important event, 290 migrants rights organisations, unions,
NGOs, and other civil society actors are calling upon their governments to
implement this new UN Convention or if they have not yet done so, to ratify
this international human rights instrument.
